BIO 209 - Animal Behavior (3 Cr.)
This course will introduce the field of animal behavior and the study of the development, causation, and function from a biological perspective. We will focus on many important biological activities such as foraging, communication, migration, predator-prey interactions, mating, and parental care. The evolution and adaptive significance of behavior will be emphasized. This course is offered on line. Students will be expected to complete some observational and experimental studies where they are located. Prerequisites: or or permission of instructor. Summer 2013. M.Roy.
