PHL 332 - Foucault (3 Cr.) (GEN. ED. #7) An advanced examination of the works of Michel Foucault as well as an introduction to the ideas and issues that characterized post-1968 Europe, the time period during which he wrote. The course will be devoted to a careful reading of Foucault’s most important works. Prerequisite: two courses in philosophy (one at the 200- level), or permission of the instructor. Fall semester.
