COM 245 - Film Theory and History II (4 Cr.) (GEN. ED. #4 and #9) (LER–TXT)
This course will examine the history of and theories about film as an art form, a technology, a business, and a cultural practice with sociopolitical meaning and impact. Emphasis on narrative, dramatic film from the 1940s through the 2000s. Prerequisites: COM 105 , , college writing proficiency, and sophomore standing; or permission of instructor. Spring semester.
