AMS 225 - Jews Across the Americas (4) (RJ 225 ) This course examines the diversity of the Jewish American experiences in South America, North America and the Caribbean. Beginning in the early colonial era to the present, we will examine Jewish life through a variety of cultural genres, including visual art, literature, and public memory. This course offers an introduction to the methods of American Studies, Religion and Justice, as well as other disciplines housed within the Center for the Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies. Prerequisite: RJ 100 or AMS 100
