RJ 100 - Jewish American Studies ()(Formerly AMS 353) (AMS 100 )
Course provides an introductory experience of Jewish American Studies, in its interdisciplinary dimensions, its historical significance, and its cultural expressions. Covers a range of topics, that might include race, gender, social justice, colonialism, immigration and diaspora(ism). Assignments integrate studentsʼ campus experiences, their coursework, with local communities and organizations that help foster a deeper understanding of Jewish Studies.
