Students must demonstrate an understanding of relationships between individuals and social structures, as they pertain to the distribution of limited cultural, political, natural, and/or economic resources. This will be achieved by introducing students to the methods used by social scientists to analyze how societies and social institutions behave, at a point in time as well as over time. Courses in the social sciences and designated other courses can be used to satisfy this requirement.
