Students must demonstrate practical understanding of global citizenship and gain intercultural awareness through a study-abroad experience. By studying abroad students will explore different ways of thinking, communicating, working, learning and living. For additional information see the Study Abroad  section in the General Education Requirements listed earlier. Study abroad courses sponsored by Goucher or by other colleges may fulfill this requirement. *as of 3/25/2015 the following was added - “and completion of the 1 credit Study Abroad Immersion Course, may fulfill this requirement.”.
