CS 435 - Machine Learning (4 Cr.) (cross-listed as MA 435) (GCR DA-AC)
The basic theory and practice of machine learning techniques. Topics will vary, but will broadly cover the concepts of regression, classification, learning theory, supervised and unsupervised techniques, deep learning and reinforcement learning. The course will include programming projects using a standard open source library (e.g. Torch or TensorFlow). Prerequisites: MA 221 and MA 222 /MA 224 and completion of GCR - Data Analytics Foundational level. Offered spring semester of even years. Brody.
