PSY 201 - Professional Development in Psychology I (1 Cr.)
Develop an enhanced understanding of the breadth of psychology as a discipline, as well as interdisciplinary connections, through discussions with psychology faculty. Explore the psychology major - requirements, courses, opportunities. Attend and discuss Center for Psychology events related to the field and to career/graduate school topics. Discuss academic success and student comportment. Create a 4-year plan for academic, personal, and professional goals. Required for psychology majors who enter Goucher starting Fall 2017. Prerequisite: PSY 105 . Fall semester, repeated spring semester. Program faculty.
