BIO 378 - Developmental Biology (4 Cr.)


The environment in which an organism develops can greatly impact the developmental outcome of the organism, health of the fully developed or aged organism, and evolution of organisms. This course explores the plasticity of developmental mechanisms and processes, how the environment can disrupt development, and developmental bases for evolutionary change in the context of classic developmental biology knowledge. Three hours classroom, three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: BIO 210 , BIO 220 , and BIO 224 . Spring semester. Lenkowski.
