BIO 354 - Microbiology (4 Cr.)
An introduction to the structure, physiology, genetics, ecology, and the evolution of microorganisms. Special attention is given to the role of microbes in industry and in infectious diseases. Chemotherapeutic and immune control of infectious diseases are also discussed in detail. Three hours classroom, three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: BIO 210 , BIO 220 , BIO 224 and CHE 230 . Spring semester. Jozwick.
