THE 232 - Playwriting (3 Cr.) (LER-ARC)
An introduction to the creative possibilities of playwriting for the 21st century. While offering inspiration within a supportive workshop environment, this course provides students with the critical tools and basic concepts of playwriting through a series of writing exercises and script analysis techniques. Students will learn to create dramatic texts for a variety of forms, media, and venues, and to participate in a process of constructive critical response. Fall semester, repeated spring semester.
