MDS 415 - Social Media (4 Cr.)

Students will explore social media theory, practice, and impact, critically examining the use of social media in culture, politics, media industries, social institutions, and everyday lives. Students also develop skills and experience in creating, communicating, promoting, and organizing using social media in strategic ways. Prerequisites: MDS 262 and MDS 327 or SOA 310; or permission of the instructor. Variable semesters.
