DIG 232 - Writing for the Media (4 Cr.)

This course introduces students to various forms of writing for digital media. The course will cover the basic principles and practices of news writing for television, writing for the Web, dramatic script writing, and public relations. The course functions as a course in the Writing-Enriched Curriculum. Prerequisite: completed CWP or WRT 181 or FYS 100W, and completion of MDS 105 and sophomore status by the beginning of the course; or completion of WRT 181H and MDS 105 by the beginning of the course. Fall semester, repeated spring semester.
