BIO 278 - Developmental Biology (4 Cr.) The cellular and organism-level processes that occur during typical development of plants and animals will be explored in this course. The central dogma, cell signaling, mitosis, and evolutionary change will be considered in addition to how typical development may be disrupted by the environment. Connections between developmental biology and social issues will be discussed. Spring semester. Three hours classroom, three hours laboratory. Pre-requisites: BIO 111 (formerly BIO 102) , BIO 224 (C- or better) Lenkowski, Simpson
