PHY 126 - General Physics II (4 Cr.)

(GCR Biological and Physical Sciences area)

A continuation of PHY 125, including integral calculus. Topics include thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, and physical and geometrical optics. Six hours per week integrated lecture/laboratory. Note: Physics and 3+2 engineering students are to take MA 214 as a pre- or co-requisite, as it is required to continue in the major. Pre- or corequisite: DMC 172 or MA 214 - Multivariable Differential Calculus (4 Cr.) or permission of the instructor. Fall semester.
