BIO 327 - Molecular Genetics and Genomics (4 Cr.)

This course focuses on applying fundamental concepts of genetics and molecular biology to modern topics in biology with an emphasis on eukaryotic systems including model organisms and humans. Topics include simple and complex disease, gene expression, development, and evolution. Primary scientific literature is emphasized. Three hours classroom and three hours lab. Prerequisites: BIO 220, BIO 224, one additional 200-level or higher biology course, CHE 230, and completion of GCR Data Analytics Foundational Level. Spring semester.
