PSY 322 - Cognitive Psychology (4 Cr.)(Formerly PSY 235) (GCR Biological and Physical Sciences area) The science of Cognitive Psychology involves exploring how the human mind processes information. This includes studying how and why the human mind evolved, how it develops through the lifespan, how it accomplishes the extraordinary achievements necessary for day-to-day living, and what happens when something goes wrong. Major topics include: perception, attention, memory, imagery, language, problem solving, and decision-making. Prerequisite: PSY 105 or PSY 111 (inactive). Spring semester. McCabe.
