WL 353 - Soul of Russia: Russian Culture and Civilization (4 Cr.) (cross listed as RUS 250 and RUS 350 and WL 253 and WL 269) (LER-TXT and LER-DIV)
In English with 1-credit Russian option. The study of Russian traditions, folklore, conceptions of the world, and search for national identity takes place in juxtaposition with Russian history, literature, music, cuisine and dance. Research paper and a capstone project with some work in the Russian language or documented community-based learning capstone project are required. Prerequisite: RUS 251 . Alternating years. Spring semester. Czeczulin.
