Peace Studies Minor

Students may elect a minor in peace studies in combination with any major such as education studies; history; psychology; women, gender, and sexuality studies; the sciences; communication; or sociology/anthropology. The minor is a valuable complement for any major field because the broad range of skills acquired-attentive listening, interaction with and respect for others, cooperation, responsibility, negotiation, political engagement-are essential for quality work in any major and in the professional world.

Twenty-four credit hours (seven courses) are required for the minor in peace studies, as follows:
