COM 189 - Studio Television Production (4 Cr.)
An introduction to the techniques and aesthetics of studio television production. Students will explore multicamera videography, producing and directing, staging and graphics, lighting for standard and dramatic effect, the correlation of audio and visual compositional elements, and the aesthetic of online editing. Students will also learn basic coordination of on-camera talent. The process and practice of studio production as an artistic and expressive medium will be emphasized. Spring semester.
