COM 105 - Introduction to Communication Studies (3 Cr.)
This course introduces students to the history and development of human communication in all its forms. Students are encouraged to look for patterns of change and continuity while examining relationships among technology, ideas, social relations, and political realities. Legal, philosophical, and ethical debates surrounding the introduction and use of these technologies will be stressed. Fall semester, repeated spring semester. Burton, Kimball, Marcus, San Filippo.
