WS 230 - Contemporary Feminisms: Diverse Voices (3 Cr.) (LER–DIV) An examination of feminists’ analyses of women’s status in America since the 1960s. This course focuses on issues raised and analytic frameworks used by Latina, African American, Native American, Asian American, and European American women in seeking to improve women’s status and in theorizing gender inequalities. Prerequisite: WS 100 or WS 150 or sophomore standing. Spring semester. Offered 2011-12 and alternate years. Department.
