ED. #10) (LER-TXT AND DIV) An introduction to ethical thought with particular attention given to the conflict between individual interest and communal good. The course includes a survey of classical writings on ethics, as well as a selection of more recent texts that focus on concrete issues such as gender and sexuality, racism, economic injustice, and environmental ethics.
