Using comparative analysis of indigenous and non-indigenous societies, this course will examine indigenous forms of government and social structure pre-1492 to the present. Prerequisite: one course in history, peace studies, or sociology, and sophomore standing. Spring semester. Offered 2010-11 and alternate years. Department.
