ENG 250 - American Literature I (3 Cr.)
This course explores issues of nationality, spirituality, race, gender and sexuality from the Colonial Period to the Civil War in literary genres that include letters, journals, essays, poetry, the sermon, autobiography, short story, novel, and the slave narrative. Prerequisite: college writing proficiency. Fall semester. Offered 2011-2012. Robinson.
