ENG 219 - Linguistics (3 Cr.)
An introduction to modern linguistics, with special attention to grammatical structures, word and sound formation, and semantics. The course also explores recent linguistic theories, as well as the history of the English language. Prerequisite: sophomore standing. Spring semester. Offered 2011-12 and alternate years. Garrett.
