COM 307 - Special Topics in World Cinema (4 Cr.)
Advanced study in a particular movement, period, aspect, country, or continent within the motion picture’s industrial, sociocultural, and aesthetic development worldwide. Topics for a given semester are posted before registration. Examples of topics include Women and Film, German Cinema, French Cinema, Third World Cinema, War and the Cinema, and Classics of Hollywood Film. Prerequisites: COM 239 and/or COM 245 , departmental and college writing proficiency, junior or senior status, or permission of the instructor. Repeatable if the topic is different.
