BIO 454 - Seminar in Infectious Diseases (2 Cr.)

This seminar offers a critical analysis of current scientific research on the evolution and treatment of infectious diseases. Students will examine our understanding of viral, bacterial, protozoan and fungal pathogens and their interactions with the host immune system through discussion and presentation of primary literature. Prerequisite: BIO 220 (C- or better) and junior standing.
