BIO 456 - Seminar in Microbial Mutualism (2 Cr.)

This seminar will critically examine the current research on microbial associations with plants and animals, emphasizing beneficial contributions. Through discussions of recent primary literature, students will explore the role of microbial partners in a range of topics such as agriculture, evolution, organismal development and human health. Prerequisite: Prerequisite: BIO 220 (C- or better) and junior standing.
