COM 460 - Digital Filmmaking III (4 Cr.)
In most semesters, students will work individually or in pairs to write, produce, direct, and edit their own significant project, in either feature or documentary mode. In addition, they will help crew other students’ productions within the class. The course may also be dedicated to one large group project in production, such as a limited narrative or anthology series. Students will hone their skills in writing, videography, sound, lighting, working with performers, and post-production. Students should have a project in mind at the beginning of the semester, which will be reviewed by the professor. Prerequisites: Digital Filmmaking II and junior or senior status, by the beginning of the semester; or permission of instructor. Repeatable if format is different. Variable semesters. Faculty.
