DAN 391 - Professional Outreach Seminar (4 Cr.)
A community based learning seminar and workshop in which the students work cooperatively to research and create, from concept to performance, an interactive, outreach program for elementary school children. The emphasis of the course material is to discover and identify how aspects of dance studies can further enhance children’s understanding of academic curriculum. Prerequisites: prior or concurrent enrollment in DAN 115 or DAN 121 . Variable semesters. Garofalo.
