DAN 398 - Labanotation (4 Cr.)
A systematic method of observation and notation of the basic essence of movement leading to a more detailed study of movement reading and writing based on the work of Laban with application to performance, choreography, dance education, dance criticism, dance history, and dance therapy. Prerequisite: placement in DAN 215 or DAN 221 . Spring semester. Woodson.
