PHL 332 - Foucault (3 Cr.)

A examination of the works of Michel Foucault, as well as an introduction to the ideas and issues that characterized post-1968 Europe, the time period during which he wrote. The course will be devoted to a careful reading of Foucault’s most important works. Prerequisite: either a 200-level philosophy course or permission of the instructor. Fall semester.
