Peace Studies Minor

Students may elect a minor in peace studies in combination with any major such as education, history, psychology, religion, women, gender, and sexuality studies, the sciences, communications, or sociology. The minor is a valuable complement for any major field because the broad range of skills and attitudes involved—attentive listening, interaction with and respect for others, cooperation, responsibility, negotiation, political engagement—are essential for quality personal, vocational, and civic lives.
