Concentration in Secondary Education With Certification in Chemistry
Students planning to teach chemistry in secondary schools after graduation should consult with the chairs of the Departments of Chemistry and Education as early as possible in their academic careers for certification requirements in education. For certification requirements, see description under the Education Department . Honors in the Major
Students must complete an ACS certified major with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in courses in chemistry, mathematics, and physics required for the major. Students must also receive a grade of A or A- in CHE 395Y. |
