FRO 200 - Frontiers Teaching Assistant (1-3 Cr.)
By faculty invitation and under faculty supervision, the teaching assistant will work closely with the course instructor to gain teaching experience and develop an understanding of various pedagogical practices while undertaking a range of responsibilities and projects geared to an individual Frontiers section. Such responsibilities may include meeting with individual students to review drafts of papers, consulting with students about group projects, leading review sessions, assisting with labs or field work, conducting research. May be taken pass/no-pass or for a letter grade. If taken for a letter grade, supervising faculty member must provide Frontiers Program Director with description of the academic content of the TA’s responsibilities. May be repeated once for credit. Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Fall semester.
