SOC 203 - Qualitative Inquiry (4 Cr.)
This course provides a foundation in the use of qualitative methods of inquiry, including in-depth interviewing, focus groups, participant observation, and narrative research. Course readings allow students to explore the link between theory and methods, as well as examine ethical issues in research. Students develop projects that allow them to demonstrate research design, coding, and analysis using a qualitative data analysis program. Required for all majors.
