WS 232 - African American Women’s History (3 Cr.)
This course will examine the social, political, and cultural history of African American women in the United States from the Colonial period through the present. Special attention will be given to the construction of race and the diversity of African American women’s experiences in the United States. Spring semester. Offered 2012-2013 and alternate years.
