ENG 230 - The Classical Tradition (3 Cr.)
This survey of Greek and Roman literature will provide useful background for further study in English literature and such fields as women’s studies, theatre, anthropology, and history. The focus will be “Continuity and Change in the Classical Tradition,” studying the transmission and reception of classical literature from Homer and Archilochos to Virgil and Longus.
