BUS 206 - Professional Communication (3 Cr.)
Designed for Business Management majors, this course will develop and enhance students’ skills in a range of written and verbal communications in business settings. The content focus will be on classic formats to produce clear and persuasive writing and presentations, but also how to more effectively use contemporary tools found in today’s business world. Students will work on a variety of audience-oriented vehicles, including standard business correspondence; career development and human resource documents and techniques; and adapt source material to craft persuasive messages for a range of audiences. Prerequisites: Business Management major (or permission of instructor) and college writing proficiency. Fall semester, repeated spring semester. Lohr.
