ES 232 - U.S. Environmental Policy and Politics (4)

This course examines the legislative, administrative, and legal processes that shape environmental policy, including democratic institutions, the policymaking process, and implementation at national, state, and local scales. Special focus on the variety of stakeholders involved in environmental problem-framing and -solving, and how environmental decision-making is an embodiment of value negotiations.
