This course will cover Newtonian Mechanics (including position and velocity dependent forces, and systems with variable mass), Lagrangian Mechanics, oscillations, statics and dynamics of a rigid object. Mathematical topics covered will include ordinary and partial differential equations. Pre-requisite: PHY 126. Spring semester.
