This course examines the interconnectivity of geologic processes, climate change, and life on Earth. Topics include rock formation, soils, earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, floods, and river and groundwater pollution. Emphasis will be placed on the application of geologic principles to solve some environmental problems. Variable semesters.
