LIT 212 - Humans & Nature in British Poetry (2 Cr.)

Considers British poets and their reflections on humans, nature and human nature in the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries respectively. Charts the evolution of poetic form from the neo-classical interest in rhetorical devices to modern image-driven verse. Prerequisite: WRT 181 or instructor’s permission. Spring semester. Typically alternating years.
