DAN 302 - Advanced Pointe and Variations (1 Cr.)

Advanced-level pointe work for students at the high intermediate and advanced level of ballet. Students will develop skills for performance in pointe work and explore historical variations from the romantic, classical and neo-classical eras at the discretion of the instructor with emphasis on artistry sur les pointes. Prerequisite: Open to students with prior pointe training enrolled in DAN 320 and DAN 421. Repeatable up to three times for credit. Variable semesters.
