CHE 372 - Inorganic Chemistry with Lab (4 Cr.)

Structure, bonding, and reactivity of coordination compounds, organometallic compounds, and materials. Course has a strong emphasis on group theory and molecular theory. Laboratory work consists of the synthesis, purification, and characterization of metal-containing compounds including compounds that are catalysts for organic reactions. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Prerequisite: Prerequisites: CHE 235 Spring semester. Offered 2026-2027 and alternate years.
