EC 497 - Capstone in Economics (4 Cr.) This course explores topics in applied micro- and macroeconomics by developing a foundation for identifying and analyzing causal relationships. The primary econometric tools that will be utilized include panel data and fixed effects models, instrumental variables, difference-in differences, regression discontinuity, and time-series econometrics. Prerequisites: Completion of EC 320 with at least a C-. Spring semester. Bock, Shepard.
