BIO 327 - Advanced Genetics (4 Cr.) (GCR DA-AC)
This course provides an understanding of the control and expression of genes at the molecular level with an emphasis on eukaryotic systems. Topics focus on genetic analyses of selected model systems, including Drosophila, S. cerevisiae, C. elegans, and human. Student participation and use of original literature are emphasized. Three hours classroom, three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: BIO 220 , BIO 224 , one additional 200-level or higher biology course, CHE 230 , and completion of GCR Data Analytics Foundational Level. Spring semester. Offered Spring 2024 and alternate years. Hiller.
