POLICY UPDATES:

Leave of Absence Policy - effective 03/08/2021 Leave of absences taken during the three semesters affected by COVID-19 in which Goucher College moved to remote instruction (spring 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021) will not apply towards the two semester limit for leave of absence.

Online Course Policy - effective 6/19/2020 - Goucher online courses taken the summer and fall of 2020 will not count towards the 12 credits maximum of online/distance-learning courses that can apply toward the 120 credit minimum required for a BA degree. Updated 8/10/2020 - also includes non-Goucher courses. Updated 10/12/2020 - Goucher and non-Goucher online courses taken in winter 2021 and spring 2021 will not count towards the 12 credits maximum of online/distance-learning courses that can apply toward the 120 credit minimum required for a BA degree.

Course Pass/No-Pass Grading Option Policy - updated 8/10/2020 to change the deadline to select pass/no-pass grading for full semester or second 7-week course to now be the last day of classes, November 18, 2020. Update 2 - the deadline to select pass/no-pass grading for a full semester or second 7-week course will now be May 7, 2021.

Course Withdrawal Policy - updated 8/10/2020 to change the deadline to withdraw from a course for the fall 2020 semester only to now be the last day of classes, November 18, 2020. Update 2 - the deadline to withdraw from a full semester or second 7-week course will now be May 7, 2021.

GCR RPP LYE - updated 05/06/21 to waive for 2021-22 graduating students.

Latin Honors - updated 04/19/21 to change the number of graded credits needed for Latin Honors for May 2021 and August 2021 graduating undergraduate students from 60 to 56.

Repeated Courses Policy - Ordinarily, no student may register for the same course more than twice, with the exception of special topics courses with different content. Approval must be obtained from the appropriate program director if a student wishes to repeat a course beyond this limit.  The struck out content for the repeat policy is rescinded as of 11/21/2021.
